About Us
Founded in 2021 by Will Holman, George Lewin, and Ben Greg, CTRL Esports was born out of a shared passion for competitive gaming while the trio studied esports at Queen Mary's College.
Our Beginning
What began as a small idea quickly grew into something larger, fueled by friendship, drive, and a deep love for the esports world.
Rapid Growth
Officially launched in November 2021, CTRL Esports quickly gained momentum, building a strong community and reputation. In its first year, the team expanded into key esports titles like Rocket League, Valorant, and Fortnite, garnering a loyal following.
2023 Milestones
- Signed high-profile players: "Marky", "SYD", "MJT", "DAKI", and "JKG"
- Secured 3rd place at Epic.LAN
- Notable performances at Insomnia 70:
